Tour Terms and Conditions

This tour is based on rates, tariffs, and ground costs in effect and is subject to future CAB and IATA fare increases, carrier fuel surcharges, luggage charges, and possible land cost increases. These are in effect at the time the tour operates and are subject to change without notice. The cost of land arrangements as outlined in this brochure is based on a minimum group size as negotiated with your tour host. If the group falls below this number, we reserve the right to cancel the tour or increase the fare.

Fuel surcharges may be levied by the airlines. LionsGate Travel cannot guarantee the tax portion of the tour.

Included in the basic tour price:

  • Air Transportation: Transportation is in economy class on regularly scheduled IATA airlines based on non-refundable, non-interlineable fares. A portion of the air travel may use a regular non-IATA scheduled airline. Tickets must be paid for no later than 60 days before departure.
  • Land Transportation: As specified in the respective tour itineraries. Motor coaches are modern, large-windowed, air-regulated vehicles especially designed for comfortable touring and sightseeing.
  • Hotels: Your hotels are carefully selected in each category. We reserve the right to substitute hotels if necessary. LionsGate Travel will endeavor to substitute hotels of a similar category. Prices are based on two persons sharing a twin-bedded room with private facilities and will be assigned on a run-of-the-house basis. Single Room Occupancy: A limited number of single rooms are available at an additional cost as listed elsewhere. This charge is imposed by the hotels for the privilege of privacy, and does not provide for the right to occupy a twin-bedded room for sole use. LionsGate Travel will attempt to accommodate requests for single tour members traveling alone who wish to share hotel accommodations with another single tour member. However, the individual tour member is subject to payment of the single supplement if such share arrangements are not possible prior to or during the tour.
  • Meals: As specified. No credit will be allowed for unused meals while on tour.
  • Transfers: Transfers will be provided upon arrival and departure from airports, train stations, and/or piers to and from hotels as per itineraries.
  • Sightseeing: As specified in the itineraries and will include the services of fully accredited guides. Entrance fees to places visited are included unless listed as optional tours.
  • Service Charges: Taxes and service charges normally payable on any service mentioned in the itinerary, including government and local taxes, are included. Exclusions are listed in the ‘Not Included’ section.

Not included in basic tour price: US departure tax, visa fees, gratuities to drivers and local guides (subject to satisfactory services), and a tipping pool collected by LionsGate Travel prior to departure for disbursement overseas. Passports, vaccinations, meals not specified in the program, optional excursions, luggage charges, excess baggage charges, accident and baggage insurance, transportation not specified in the itinerary, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, laundry, items of a personal nature, and airport departure taxes where applicable are not included.

Payment Procedures: A deposit of $500.00 per person is required before any reservation will be confirmed. Full payment is required in our office 90 days before departure. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation not fully paid at that time and to apply the appropriate cancellation charges. All bookings received less than 60 days before departure must be accompanied by full payment by cashier’s check or money order payable to Lionsgate Travel.

Changes, Cancellations, and Deviations:

  • Changes: If you choose to return individually and not with the group, there is a $500.00 surcharge, plus applicable airfare differential for the deviation.
  • Cancellations: Cancellations received before 120 days prior to departure will result in a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations received within 119 days prior to departure will be assessed a total of $500.00 plus any cancellation charges levied by the carriers and hotels and any other operational expenses. Because most services for your tour are paid for 120 days prior to departure, this cancellation fee could be a full penalty. Trip cancellation insurance is highly recommended and is available through TRAVELEX. All cancellation charges will be assessed from the day written notification is received in our office. No cancellations are effective through telephone notification. All claims for refunds must be made within thirty days after termination of the tour in writing. Refunds should be received within 60 days.

General Conditions – Responsibility: Lionsgate Travel and its associated companies give notice that all tickets and coupons issued by them, and all arrangements for transport or conveyance or for hotel accommodations, are made by them as agents upon the express condition that they shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, or delay occasioned by a defect in any transport or conveyance, the acts or defaults of any firm or person engaged in conveying the passenger, carrying out the arrangements of the tours, any hotel’s failure to provide services or facilities normally available, or other difficulties caused by sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, or other causes. In the event of cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances such as sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, or other causes, Lionsgate Travel is not responsible, and refunds will not be available. Please consider obtaining travel insurance to cover such eventualities. No responsibility is accepted should a hotel, for any reason, withdraw any advertised facility. Tour itineraries and dates may be affected by changes caused by transport or conveyance or services provided in various countries. We reserve the right to withdraw any tour in this program and to make alterations in itineraries found desirable for the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying out of the tours, and to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at any time. All rates shown or otherwise indicated are based upon present values of foreign currency in relation to the US dollar and on current fare tariffs, and are subject to adjustment in the event of changes therein. Baggage is at the owner’s risk at all times. Any transport or conveyance companies mentioned or provided shall have no responsibility or liability to any passenger, except as common carriers, and they shall have no liability during the time the passengers are not on the particular tour or conveyance. While every effort is made to ensure that baggage is properly handled, Lionsgate Travel cannot be held responsible for damages, loss, or theft of luggage or personal belongings. In the event of war, pandemic, or unforeseen events, Lionsgate Travel is not responsible for any cancellation of the tour, accrued losses of any or all money paid towards the tour, or postponement of the tour that may result in additional costs.

Other Items of Importance – Documentation: US citizens require a valid passport for international travel. In most cases, passports should be valid for a minimum of 6 months after your date of return. Any person with an Israeli stamp in your passport who will be traveling to or through Arab nations (such as Jordan) should be aware that some Arab nations will not allow entry, and you will need to get a new passport. You can verify this with our office. Visas are required for Egypt, Jordan, South Africa, Yugoslavia, Russia, and China and may be required for other areas of your itinerary. LionsGate Travel will apply for group visas when available, but will need all passenger passport information no less than 90 days prior to departure. Non-US citizens must check with their consulate for information regarding visa requirements.

Arbitration and Legal Fees: Any disputes arising out of or related to services provided by Lionsgate Travel or claims of breach of these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, which shall be conducted in Texas. Lionsgate Travel Inc. is a Texas corporation, and all arbitration proceedings or court actions shall be held in Texas. The prevailing party in any dispute resolution proceedings, whether arbitration or court, will be entitled to recover its attorney’s fees and other legal costs from the non-prevailing party.

Sequence of Tours: During certain periods of conventions, congresses, or unforeseen events, the Tour Operator may have to make last-minute changes in tour sequence. All services to which participants are entitled will be rendered.

Air Carrier Responsibility: Air carriers are responsible for the air travel portion of this tour, performed by them and on behalf of tour participants in accordance with the terms and conditions of their individual passage contracts and are subject to applicable laws, treaties, and regulations governing air transportation.
