Join us for a tour of a lifetime. Our 13-day Christian Tour of Israel and Istanbul will give pilgrims a unique chance to connect with Jesus and explore the most sacred places in the world. DAY 01

Depart LAX for Istanbul

Arrive in Istanbul, where East meets West. Orientation tour. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

DAy 03

Full day visit to the magnificent city of Istanbul visiting the historic part of the Basilica of Hagia Sophia, the culmination of Byzantine art, and the pearl of Istanbul; We will also visit the famous Topkapi Palace, residence of the Ottoman sultans for four centuries, including the treasure and holy relics. At noon we will enjoy a typical lunch at a local restaurant in the Sultanahmet area and continue with a visit to the Blue Mosque, a marvel of harmony, proportion and elegance; and the Hippodrome that preserves the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column, the Emperor William Fountain and the Egyptian Obelisk. At the end of the afternoon we will visit the famous Grand Bazaar where we will enjoy free time to lose ourselves among its 4 thousand shops. Return to the hotel and accommodation.

ISTANBUL / BOSPHORUS WALK / SPICES BAZAAR

DAy 04

Departure for one of the most famous activities in Istanbul, a boat ride on the Bosphorus, the channel that separates Europe and Asia. During this journey you can see the palaces of the Sultans, old and typical wooden houses and enjoy history in a different way. Next, we will make one of the star visits, the spice bazaar, established by the Ottomans 5 centuries ago and used since then. Our included visit ends in the bazaar where you can enjoy its atmosphere and variety of shops. In the afternoon you can optionally make a visit with lunch to the Asian part of the city, visiting the “Beylerbey” palace, Eyup neighborhood, Pierre Loti cafe. Golden Horn. Return to the hotel and accommodation.

Day 05

This morning we begin a long voyage through the Sinai Desert. Our drive takes us through miles of yellow sand perhaps tracing the 40-year journey of the Israelites after their exodus from Egypt. We arrive Taba in the late afternoon. This border town is known for its grand resorts along the Red Sea. Transfer to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

CAESAREA/MEGIDDO/CARMEL

Day 06

After breakfast we begin the day with a drive along the shores of the Mediterranean to Caesarea. This ancient city was built in honor of Caesar by Herod the Great, and was the capital of the Romans in the Holy Land for nearly 500 years. See the Crusader City, it’s fantastic aqueduct, and the amphitheatre. We continue on to Haifa through the Jezreel Valley. Stop at Megiddo and the fields of Armageddon. Megiddo is one of King Solomon’s “chariot cities” and according to scripture, the location for the last battle in history. See Gideon’s brook and the “Well of Herod. Drive to the crest of Mt. Carmel where Elijah’s contest with the prophets of Baal. We continue east across the Galilee region to view Mt. Tabor and visit Deboriya, the hometown of the prophetess Deborah located at the foothill of Mt. Tabor. We reach Tiberias and transfer to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay along the picturesque Sea of Galilee.

CAPERNAUM / CAESAREA PHILIPPI / MT. HERMON / GOLAN HEIGHTS.

DAy 07

There is nothing quite like witnessing a sunrise on the Sea of Galilee. Although there are many places which we must admit are traditional, you can be sure that the Lord Jesus walked down these shores. After a sunrise service and breakfast, we cross the Sea of Galilee by boat to Capernaum to visit the ancient ruins of the synagogue where Jesus preached, We continue to the Mt. of Beatitudes the traditional site for the “Sermon on the Mount” and to Tabgha, the chapel dedicated to the multiplication of the loaves and fishes. Drives to Caesarea Philippi the site of Peter’s confession; continue to Mt. Hermon and Golan Heights where Israel share a border with Lebanon and Syria. On our way back we stop at the Jordan River where an optional Baptismal Service is possible. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

nazareth/jereicho/jerusalem

DAy 08

With an early morning departure to Cana and to Nazareth, the hometown of Jesus, we visit the Church of the Annunciation and Mary’s Fountain We continue to Bethshean, to see the most recent excavations came tumbling down. Enjoy a view of the Mt. of Temptation and see Elisha’s Fountain. As we drive through the Judean country our hearts filled with elation in anticipation of entering Jerusalem. We transfer to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay

Jerusalem

Day 08

We have reached the “highlight of our tour”. We begin the day with a drive to Mt. Scopus and the Mt. of Olives for the most spectacular panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem. We visit the Chapel of the Ascension, the Church of Pater Noster and the Dominus Flevit. Walk along Hosanna Road to the Garden of Gethsemane to visit the Church of All Nations that stands on the Rock of Agony where Jesus was betrayed by Judas. See the Pillar of Absalom, the Eastern (Golden) Gate and the Pinnacle of the Temple. We then drive to Mt. Zion where we visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu on the site of Caiaphas’ House, the Upper Room of the Last Supper and King David’s Tomb. We continue with a tour New Jerusalem: Visit Yad Vashem – a memorial built for six million lives that perished during the Holocaust, We return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Masada/dead sea/qumran

DAy 10

Today we head further south 1300” under sea level to the Dead Sea. A beautiful new road takes us south along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada. Ascend the mountain by cable car and see the magnificent ruins of the fortress where from 70 73 A.D Jewish zealots made the last stand against Romans. Return along the Dead Sea to Qumran the place where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Visit the remains of the Community Center of the Essenes and the Caves of the Scrolls. Drive the Jericho Road to the Inn of the Good Samaritan, then return to Jerusalem for dinner and an overnight stay.

Jerusalem

Day 11

Today we begin a walking tour of Jerusalem. Visit the Western Wall where Jews from all over flock to pray. Continue to Mount Zion see David’s Tomb. We’ll then see the Temple Mount. Visit the Lions’ Gate and the Pools of Bethesda. We’ll then visit the Tower of Antonia, the Praetorium, and Pilate’s Judgement Hall. Here our Lord was tried by Pilate, beaten by the Roman Cohort, and took up His Cross for Calvary. The Ecce Homo begins the traditional Via Dolorosa leading to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Visit the Jewish Quarter. We conclude our tour with a visit to Garden Tomb where we will have a communion service. We return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 12

Today we spend the day at leisure. Revisit favorit sites. Try your hand at bartering in the local street markets.Stroll along Ben Yehuda Street with its iconic cafes and shops, or just relax at our hotel. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 13

We depart early to the airport for our flight home filled with amazing memories from the land of the Bible.
